Lily was a little nervous for her first dental check up. She was remembering all the poking and prodding that accompanied her pneumonia hospital stay. Doctors and all doctor-like settings have become associated with pain mixed with a little bit of fear. Halle being the darling big sister that she is, volunteered to go first and show Lily how exciting and fun the dentist can be.
Look at her trying so hard to get her sister excited about it.
Lily's came turn and before they had even placed the bib around her neck she had opened her mouth wide and wouldn't close it for anything.
She was calm and enjoyed her little show while the dental assistant worked in her mouth.
Nothing to be afraid of!
