summer fun

I think this may have been one of my most favorite summers.  We had such a great time being together and really wonderful weather.  It seemed as though every other day the girls were asking to pull our inflatable pool out or play on our slip and slide.
Halfway through the summer Wes bought a small sprinkler to attach to our hose and one of our favorite things to do was sit in our backyard at night and watch our girls play in the sprinkler.
The girls loved spending morning or afternoons at any one of the splash pads in our area.
There was the time when we made our own chalk paint and beautified our driveway.  Lily was sporting some awesome bedhead.
We went south with dad for a business trip with dad.  He worked a lot and we got to play with family in St. George.  We loved playing with cousins, splash padding, and spending time poolside.
Many cold treats and popsicles were consumed.
Dad was always up for a good game of hide and seek.
Some neighborhood friends introduced us to the Lindon pool with a fantastic lazy river.  We kept going back.  The girls were in love with this place and who doesn't love a good pool snack bar.
There was a family reunion in a cabin near park city with the cutest cousins around.
Summer is the perfect time to ride around the neighborhood wearing only your diaper and some jelly sandals.  And only this one could pull off that look.
Dad found us some coupons for Cowabunga bay.  Halle has been dying to go to this water park for a couple of years now.  It did not disappoint.  We stayed until it closed and the girls had the best time with grandparents and aunties who joined us.
We might love summer a little too much around here!
